Summer is in full swing! We’re excited about all the artwork our students made in the spring and look forward to online classes this summer.

NEW! AOMA Certificate Program

The AOMA certificate is an innovative art curriculum

for students aged 13 and older who are passionate about art. The certificate includes 1st-year level art university content in its curriculum. The instructional team is made up of university art teachers and well-known artists. AOMA focuses on cultivating students’ creativity, a skill that is valued by North American art universities.

We have some unique summer programs happening soon with our wonderful instructor, Kerry Vaughn Erickson.

JUNIOR MASTERS PROGRAM

Your young aspiring artist will learn important tips, tricks and techniques from artist Kerry Vaughn Erickson.

Over this 10 day specialized course, students will explore many valuable aspects of a professional art practice including life drawing, modeling form, colour mixing, paint application, as well as outdoor “plein air” painting experience. The course will be 7 days of online classes and 3 days of outdoor classes with social distancing.

PAINT WITH A CANADIAN ARTIST

Learn to paint with a talented Canadian artist while practicing speaking English!

This course has been developed especially for international students who want to improve their English and art together. Over this 10 day specialized course, students will explore many valuable aspects of professional art practice. They will build important foundational art techniques from an english-speaking instructor. The course will enhance both their art and their language skills!
