University Info Week
In November we will be hosting representatives from at least seven prestigious universities to hear presentations about their top art and design programs! Want the inside scoop about what makes these universities unique and how you could get accepted into them? RSVP today!
Burnaby Lake Kids Run
Running in the rain, Painting in the park! On September 22, we did a unique and happy exercise with our hands and feet in Burnaby Kids Run despite the weather.
In early September, portfolio mid-term review was successfully held. The students presented their achievements to parents, instructors, and the school staff. We look forward to witnessing them get admitted to the ideal art universities.
Kerrisdale Paint Night
We had a full house on Kerrisdale Painting Night! The participants had a super time. Our instructor Kerry taught us to paint a vibrate fall landscape, matching this beautiful autumn season.
Adult Class Exhibition
Come to AOMA to visit our art exhibition! The pieces were created by our students in our Adult Painting class. They’ve studied for 8 weeks and some of them started from zero. Impressive achievements!

Advanced painting students paint learn to paint a forest at dusk and sunset!
The Mixed-Media Class learned to paint a beautiful autumn scene with acrylic paints!
How can we make a simple drawing of hands and a circle look 3D? By simply using colorful stripes and checkers that curve around shapes and adding shade and highlights!
Some crafty kits mold and paint little food characters with just as much personality as the kids!
This is the least quiet class in AOMA – Leaders Of Tomorrow! It cultivates kids’ public speaking skills, helps to build their confidence as well as is a good preparation of the interview for private school.
