Sweatshirt Contest Winner

We also are excited to announce the winner of our Sweatshirt Design Contest! Ian Crawford was the winner! This talented young artist’s design can be seen below.

Interview with Ian:

AOMA: How did you come out the idea of your winning work? Any interesting sparkling moment or story to share?

IAN: I came up with the idea for my piece when I saw the beauty of the rabbit and how it shows the beauty of the wild. Using the Zen Tangle I added multiple designs to the rabbit to make it more interesting.

AOMA: What is your process? What is your ideal environment?

IAN: What I like about AOMA is how fun the environment is and how everyone is able to talk and have fun but still does lots of work.

AOMA: What did you learn from this contest?

IAN: What I learned from this contest and through my studies at AOMA preparing is that sometimes not everything goes well with a piece but you just have to deal with it and build off it.
