Architecture Model Making

Ages: 9+
Students will be introduced to Architecture through hands-on 3D modelling exercises. From skyscrapers to houses, students will explore geometry, form and space where each week they will be asked to design new structures. Throughout the course, they will develop skills in craftsmanship, material exploration as well as working in a collaborative environment.

Architecture and the City

Ages: 13+
This intensive class is an exploration of Architecture and how buildings relate to each other and the people that use them. Working within the AOMA studio as well outdoors in the Kerrisdale community, students will explore Architecture through drawing and physical modelling exercises. Each week students to explore forms, space, and geometry and how they relate to the context of Kerrisdale. Throughout the course, they will develop skills in craftsmanship, material exploration as well as working in a collaborative environment.
